London, November 2021 – C8, the pioneering fintech platform that offers investors the ability to use direct indexing across all liquid asset classes and investment styles, today announces the expansion of its investor client team. Scott Douglass joins C8 on the US East Coast, whilst Charlene Mackin becomes a member of the London team. With these most recent appointments, C8 brings its total headcount to fifteen employees, having hired five new staff members in the past six months.

The C8 platform connects institutional investors around the world with leading index suppliers, including the likes of S&P Global, IHS Markit, Morningstar, and Solactive. C8’s investor clients include asset owners, asset managers, wealth managers, family offices, banks, and corporates.

Scott Douglass, Key Account Manager, United States  – Scott Douglass joins C8 as a Key Account Manager in the United States. Throughout his career, Scott has held roles in global relationship management and business development at large financial institutions, servicing hedge funds, investment advisors, mutual funds, and broker dealers. Prior to joining C8, Scott worked at Deutsche Bank, Instinet, UBS, Commcise, and Bloomberg Tradebook. In total, Scott brings 25 years of Capital Markets experience and a sophisticated background in new business sales and client engagement to the business.

Charlene Mackin, Sales and Market, UK  – Charlene Mackin joins to support C8’s client team, across sales and marketing, based in London. Her most recent career experience was at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, working across global markets and, prior to that, at MarketAxess, where she worked with technology, product and sales leaders.
